Land in zicht! Ontdek een nieuwe avontuurlijke wereld met De Sims 3 Barnacle Bay! Ahoi, maatje! De Sims 3 Barnacle Bay is een nieuwe wereld met een nieuw thema, die gedownload en verkend kan worden. Vanaf deze herfst is de wereld exclusief verkrijgbaar via De Sims 3 Store, met behulp van SimPoints. Met het nieuwe materiaal, zoals voorwerpen, onderdelen voor 'Sim creëren', Sims-personages en nieuwe huizen, kan De Sims3 Barnacle Bay jouw nieuwe bestemming worden deze herfst. Vaar uit, ga voor anker en ga op verkenning in Barnacle Bay. Barnacle Bay is een eiland in de Simuyanzee, vol prachtige stranden, kampeergelegenheden en met een bruisende binnenstad. Verken de verlaten pieren van Founder's Beach, ga op zoek naar de oude relikwieën van Goudbaard en neem een kijkje bij de mysterieuze piratenschuilplaats. Puf daarna lekker uit bij de Diepzeecafetaria van Hoddes of in de kroeg. Maak kennis met de Sims die er wonen. Misschien kom je wel wat geesten tegen, die de grootste geheimen van de stad met je willen delen. Er zijn allerlei nieuwe kavels te vinden, waar je kunt gaan wonen of die je gewoon kunt verkennen.
